I tried to install Bodhi Linux 7.0 beta ("Install Now" menu item of the bootloader menu). I choose "Беларуская" (Belarusian language) on the first screen ("Welcome") of the installer. Then I choose all other things up to the installation slideshow. And here (on the slideshow stage) I see the English version of the slides: "Welcome", "AppCenter", "Documentation" instead "Вiтаем", "Цэнтр праграм" and "Дакументацыя" ( github.com/BodhiDev/bodhi-slideshow-new/tree/master/slideshows/bodhi_slides/slides/l10n/be). And it seems that the old version of slides is used for "Русский" (Russian language). |

I tried the Bodhi Linux 7.0 beta in the Live mode. I choose "Russian" in the Language selector and I choose "Russian" in the keyboard selector too. When the Moksha desktop appear, I see the "Keyboard" module widget on the shelf for some seconds. But it disappears quickly. As a result I have to load the "Keyboard" module again manually and configure it to switch the input keyboard layouts using "Left Alt + Left Shift" (default keyboard shortcut in the Microsoft Windows operating system). That is not big deal for the experienced user of the Bodhi Linux, but that is not always clear for a newbie. I see that the English (US) layout is present as the second language out-of-box - that's great. But is it possible to load the Keyboard module automatically and configure some keyboard shortcut to switch input layouts? No problem with BL7 Beta and initial lang and keyboard settings for Slovak here Stefan EDIT: yes, russian is problematic. It disappeares. Weird EDIT2: I tried several combinations of lang and xkb. I ended with working ru ru. Confused... |

But unfortunately I see some different: imgur.com/ph3Zg2JI use the distribution ISO image bodhi-7.0.0-64-beta.iso 1,215,168,512 bytes SHA1: 83e2135a4a9700fa6a16414692b4fc8eb2d49c6e EDIT. And yes, my ISO has old slides in the directory filesystem.squashfs/usr/share/ubiquity-slideshow/slides/l10n/Is there a newer ISO somewhere? ![]() |

Just tested that and it is working for me. Perhaps you need to install gir1.2-webkit2-4.0? Looks like thewaiter posted this at about the same time i did ... |

Just tested that and it is working for me. Perhaps you need to install gir1.2-webkit2-4.0? Looks like thewaiter posted this at about the same time i did ... Thanks both of you. It was installed, but a different version. So I just changed the required version to 4.1 and it worked. However... how do I get to choose a language? It automatically picks English for me.

Hi there. I get an error saying that the image is not signed when booting from the usb flash drive. I used rufus with DD. Any ideas? I am unsure on this, I do not use rufus nor anything about it. Nor can i find this error msg in the source code for rufus. What was the exact error message you got? Regardless, maybe it is because the filesystem.squashfs is not gpg signed. I will add that to me my script that builds the iso. For the record the same has been true for all bodhi releases. Anyway did it boot for you? |
