Finally backed up my Xeon system that was running Bodhi Linux 4.4 and installed 6.0 standard. Smooth install from Live environment. I did attempt to install directly from the USB initially but the install hung. Being that we recommend installing from the live environment, I did. No issues experienced. I'm working on re-connecting my RAID array, which I have never done. I found some directions online that look promising, I'll post if I have any issues. No bugs encountered and very smooth and snappy. It's nice to have two systems both running 6.0 now. ylee : I grabbed a copy of 32 bit Bullseye but have yet to install it on an old ThinkPad (Centreno era) that has 3.x on it. Hopefully this week will allow me some time to play Thanks again, Team!

I played with BL 6.0 and found some inconsistencies in the default interface settings. As far as I understand, there are three (at least) domains of these settings: - Moksha desktop (main menu, gadgeds, etc.).
- Elementary framework (terminology, ephoto).
- GTK framework (leafpad, thunar).
You can run sample applications of each domain and see that they look differently. First at all the sizes of their interface elements are very different. To reduce these differences I did the next steps. - The default scale for Moksha desktop is 1.2 (Menu-Settings-Settings Panel, Look-Scaling->1.2). Ok, let this value will be our base level.
- Run the Elementary setting and select the same value (Menu-Settings-Settings Panel, Preferences-Elementary Configuration-Sizing-Scale->1.2). Ephoto looks nice after this.
- Create .Xresources file in the user home directory with the line: Xft.dpi:120, and restart the Moksha session. Thunar and leafpad look fine now.
And last thing - enlarge the mouse cursor ( Menu-Settings-Settings Panel, Input-Mouse-Cursor-Size->48 pixels). These settings are not obvious for a newbie and I think that the topic "How do I change the display scale" of the Moksha Desktop FAQs must be supplemented.

I still plan an enlightenment release. I ran into issues with getting e and efl to compile and a now-needed package not in Ubuntu's repos. To make matters worse the package has dependencies not in Ubuntu repos and those have dependencies not in the repos I am also busy in the real world for the next few days, but I will get back to trying to deal with enlightenment, as soon as possible.
Hello Ylee
Any news regarding the E24 version? I believe all the things left on your to do list were (sort of) completed ?! Escuelas Linux, 32 bit Bodhi 6.0... Can you please shed some light when the E24 could be expected? From what I have gathered trough visiting enlightenement.org all is quiet (and stagnant). Except Terminology and evisum not much is happening. The last announcement of anything new is more than one year old (https://www.enlightenment.org/news/efl-1.25.1).
Probably the E-devs have better things to do? Mike Blumenkrantz is doing wonders for Zink; I've no idea what Rasterman ore others are doing.. Still I miss the E-classic view and would love a E24 beta... it's been a while since the Alpha. If I can help you with anything to release an updated E24 please let me know. Thank you again for your great work!

Is the 32-bit version of Bodhi Linux close? I'm very excited! This is the best OS for low-spec/old devices.

Our dev team is pretty much ylee when it comes to releases, so when I ask the same, he reminds me that he can’t just pull ISOs out of his…well…thin air. As well as person power ylee and the team as a whole very much agree with a ready when it’s up to standard release cycle. I’m the least patient among us. I can’t wait for either release either…just a wee while longer 🙂

Let's remember the trouble with keyboard layout switching during installation stage discussed some time ago. I spent some time for researching it and found out that these lines appended to the file "bodhi-6.0.0-64.iso/preseed/custom.seed" solve the problem: d-i keyboard-configuration/store_defaults_in_debconf_db boolean false d-i keyboard-configuration/toggle select Alt+Shift The first line disables restoring default values (maybe useful for headless computers) and the second one sets hotkeys for the layouts switching. I think the root of the problem is the kind of source image (Ubuntu Server mini-iso) and its defaults.

Not sure if this is noted anywhere else on this forum...
May be me, but when I tried, repeatedly, to download the HWE version a few weeks back, I was unable to get an ISO that would generate an Md5sum consistent with what the document on SourceForge said it should be - though each download generated the same. In the end, I used Standard and added the HWE package.
Don't know if this needs any attention fron the developers.

Just now seeing this, but I just checked both md5sum and sha256sum on the bodhi-6.0.0-64-hwe.iso and got the same numbers as found in the files on SourceForge. I did a fresh download also to be sure altho i keep local copies of all ISO files i upload to SF. Unsure why your downloads were somehow flawed but perhaps it is best you used standard and added whatever you wanted. Sourceforge is somewhat problematic but it is what we have have been using prob since the beginning, that and torrents.

I found that the Moksha mouse cursor size setting doesn't affect the cursors displayed the Chromium browser and in the LightDM greeting screen. And now I can propose the way to fix this issue. First at all you have to install "adwaita-icon-theme- full" package because the installed "adwaita-icon-theme" one doesn't contain cursor images: sudo apt install "adwaita-icon-theme-full" After this you can see "/usr/share/icons/Adwaita/cursors" directory in the filesystem. Next to specify the mouse cursor size for the Chromium browser (and other X applications) you have to put these lines in the file "~/.Xresources": Xcursor.theme: Adwaita Xcursor.size: 48 And to specify the mouse cursor size for the LightDM (and other GTK-3 applications) you have to put these lines in the file "/etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini": gtk-cursor-theme-name = Adwaita gtk-cursor-theme-size = 48 I hope this will be useful for those who use BL 6.0 and high resolution displays. Note: You may specify "default" instead "Adwaita" because Adwaita is default cursor theme in BL6.0: /usr/share/icons/default/index.theme -> /etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme -> /usr/share/icons/default/Adwaita/cursor.theme

If you can spare the bandwith[,] please seed the torrents. In regard to that, suppose I have downloaded one of the files and I reboot into the new version of the distro. Then is there a way to tell Transmission to resume seeding?
