Hello community! I'm Pavel and i'm very surprised with Bodhi 6.0.
After "tuning" OS for myself - it's very funny and nice.
Let me share with you several screenshots. Also i will left here all my notes for my laptop - Chuwi Lapbook SE 13,3.

CTRL+M - Maximize Vertically
Win Space - Run Everything

Ctrl Alt End - Restart Moksha
Ctrl + Alt + K Kill Window

Ctrl + Alt + A Show Favorites Menu

Bodhi disables kernel updates by default (on all but hwe release). There is usually no reason to upgrade kernel if all your hardware/etc is working correctly, and there is potential (although unlikely) for kernel update to break drivers. If you use apt to install kernel, it'll upgrade it automatically (and keep upgrading it every time you run upgrades too...)

sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-image-generic linux-headers-generic

Alternatively you can do it with the update manager GUI which comes with apppack so you may already have it depending what iso you started with. If not

sudo apt install mintupdate
Open it and go to tools/kernel manager and select a newer kernel version from there.

After installation it won't take effect until you reboot, at which time you can

sudo apt autoremove

if you want to get rid of unneeded extras from old kernels. Don't do that before rebooting or apt will complain.

I only pointed this out because sometimes new users are unaware of it. Having a kernel that was superseded many months ago carries its own risk.

It's generally considered best practice to upgrade the kernel for security reasons.

There are slight risks as enigma9o7 points out. Ubuntu does a very good job though in this regard.

In 6 years I have yet to experience a problem with Ubuntu kernels.

Keeping the previous kernel is a good idea in case an issue crops up.

I have been using Ubuntu longer than 6 years lol. And yes I have had problems with kernel updates breaking drivers. The details are not really important. But I will say that was years and years ago. The whole time I have been using Bodhi I have never had a problem with kernel updates. And yes it is considered best to update the kernel. Bodhi has traditional left this to the user.

I found that ~ 1-2 times per day, my tochpad gets stuck in "scrolling" mode when i use browser (Chromium): when i scroll with 2 fingers up or bottom it just scrollling with pressed(!) left click. Is it a bug?
and i need to restart system ...

How can i fix this?
