here is a good place to ask about translations. I'm not sure what you mean about aliases though.

Перевод quickstart-ru по ссылке drive.google.com/file/d/1SCZxdvKpxORlVVyWu3o8xkOVioEnyCUW/view?usp=sharing

chour: why are you posting in Russian on this English forum? Apparently you know English, otherwise you wouldn't offer to help with translating from English into Russian.

Gentlemen, I am completely confused by such non-business claims -- unless in the rules of the forum there is a mention that the conversation is conducted only in English -- if a friendly community ignore questions in another language? -- it is absolutely unnecessary to translate your answers into Russian, moreover, if the answers are in Chinese or French - this is not a problem for communication, if you wish. Moreover, I will not stand in the pose of an offended lady. So let's leave the conversation about the language. What do you think about filling Bodhi with aliases for Terminology?

There is no problem with other languages by the way. Please don’t take offence.

Our confusion has been already explained and is sane. We have several translators who offer their help and they wanted to translate original text from English to their mother's lang. All speak English. That is all about confusion. No, we have no problem to communicate in other langs. I personally use google trasnlator with its inaccuracy.

PS
Be more in details. Not sure what you mean...

If we both speak English, why to complicate it! Or am I still missing something?
Anyway, please explain what you mean with your Terminology suggestion.

I think it might be a good idea to add a forum rule, that all forum postings should be in English. Not because English is superior or something (we all know Dutch is the best language of course ), but simply because it makes international communication on this forum a lot easier and help more effective if there is a compulsory "lingua franca". In the Middle Ages, Latin was the obvious choice for international communication in Europe. In the eighteenth century, it was French. Nowadays it's English, worldwide. Simply because it's the language that most non-English people know at least a bit of. If need be, perhaps a subforum can be created for a specific language, if there are enough speakers of a particular language who wish to have it. That's the way it's being done on the international Linux Mint forum where I participate, too. Works pretty well over there. 那是我的兩分錢,值得...

Add to the file ./bashrc or create a separate file (the best option) bash_aliases several lines with abbreviated commands, for the convenience of using the terminal by inexperienced users. I am a regular home user, I assure you, it helps a lot. For example:
alias update='sudo apt update; apt list --upgradable; sudo apt upgrade' #check the update from root and the total number of updates, and get a list of them + update packages
alias pp='apt list --installed | grep' #find out if the package is installed and what is its status, example: pp grub
alias df='df -kTh' # mounted disks - size and other information
alias du5='(a="FILES MORE 5 MB:"; echo $a); du -t5M *' # a list of files larger than 5MB sorted alphabetically; use: du5
alias md5='md5sum' #calculating checksums, example: md5 file
alias uu="echo "SYSTEM" && lsb_release -a; uname -a" # system and kernel data
alias new='find -mtime -1' # show files changed in this folder for the last 24 hours
But this is rather a proposal for building your own system.

Yes, understand. Useful indeed. But as you noticed, this is great for personal purposes. Maybe some users here will be interested in.
thx

I would like to go back to the beginning of my post - about translations from the page: (https://github.com/BodhiDev/bodhi_translations/tree/main/bodhi-quickstart/source/templates) Translation of quickstart-ru by link drive.google.com/file/d/1SCZxdvKpxORlVVyWu3o8xkOVioEnyCUW/view?usp=sharing
Someone should probably review this translation.

I do not know why this was not committed to the repo, but much thanks and appreciation chour. I committed it but I am really not exactly able to review it. Sorry there was such a delay in anyone responding to this, I usually do not deal with the translation stuff myself and was under the impression people were following this thread.
