I just installed palemoon_126.96.36.199-2.gtk3_i386.deb on my bl6 legacy beta, and working well. I noticed it doesn't have the black-on-black text problem that the gtk2 version has some with of our themes. Maybe bodhi should use the gtk3 version for bl6 legacy, and maybe switch to gtk3 version for bl6main too.
I discovered this because I couldn't find the gtk2 package - that I used previously with bullseye from Debian_Testing section and seems to have disappeared - but I guess it'll probably reappear shortly in Debian_11 section... but now that I've found gtk3 version I think I will stick with that anyway...
edit (update): I learned on the palemoon forum that for debian 11 (and some of the newer non LTS ubuntu's) he's no longer building gtk2 version, so indeed gtk3 is the way forward anyway unless wanna build yourself.
PaleMoon has been updated in the BL5.x repos to version 29.0.0-1. However, there is an issue with the build (compilation failure) on Ubuntu 20.04, so until that is resolved there will be no update in the BL6.0 repo.
Palemoon has now been updated to version 29.0.0-1 in BL6 repos
Thanks for putting Pale Moon in the repositories Bodhi Linux, it's a light and fast Browser.
I also like Palemoon a lot. I thought it has no support anymore and no security fixes? If i am wrong, then i would be more than pleased. I love it. The interface has the good ole optics , that i so adored.
I dont like the new browsers, all kind of, with these cell phone interface optics. I really hate it.
EDIT: I went to their page now and see that there is no OSX version anymore? That would be a pitty.
EDIT 2: Oh now i see that there is a limited OSX version.
Palemoon Browser has been updated in Bodhi's repos and all repos now have the gtk-3 version. There is an issue with the build (compilation failure) on 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04, so until that is resolved there will be no update in the BL5.0 repo for the 64-bit version. This may or may not be resolved and eventually, I am going to completely stop updating the BL5.0 repos. Already all Bodhi-specific packages are frozen and now no longer receive any updates.
Palemoon Browser has been updated in Bodhi's repos and all repos now have the Palemoon Browser has been updated in Bodhi's repos and all repos now have version 32.2.0-2.gtk3. I have discontinued updating Bodhi 5 repos.
This is a small bugfix and stability update. There were no applicable Mozilla security bugs this time around.
