Hello friends,
i now did that inxi command, with this result:
Graphics: Device-1: AMD RV730/M96-XT [Mobility Radeon HD 4670] driver: N/A Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.13 driver: ati,fbdev unloaded: modesetting,radeon,vesa resolution: 1920x1080~77Hz OpenGL: renderer: llvmpipe (LLVM 12.0.0 128 bits) v: 4.5 Mesa 21.0.3
PS: For unknow reasons, i couldnt attach the screenshot. When i use "add attachment" the file is not showing in the upload window. I have that file on my desktop and pointed to that place, but nothing is showed. Anyway.
:-)
EDIT: Ah there is a bug: In my homedirextory there are two directories that confuses the system.
1) Desktop
2) Schreibtisch <---- the german word, i use the german interface / language. thats pretty strange...

Hmmm yeah indeed that first "driver: n/a" doesnt seem right, but later it says driver:ati so hmmmmm.
How about share output from "ubuntu-drivers list". This will tell us what ubuntu thinks is best drivers for your hardware... if it looks good then "sudo ubuntu-drivers install".

Perhaps it needs proprietary firmware and you don't have propreitary repositories enabled?
When you installed Bodhi, there is a yes/no question if you allow propretiary (third party) software. Do you recall if you said yes?
Anyways to double check it, check your /etc/apt/sources.list see if everything is enabled: main restricted multiverse universe
You can open that file in any text editor, if you do it from file manager tho it won't be editable as it required admin permission. To open it (as admin) in nano (text based editor with syntax highlighting that makes it more readable)
sudo apt edit-sources
I attached a screenshot of mine from Bodhi 5.1 (bionic) to show an example of what i mean about those four words, but yours will be different, focal etc...

edit: but maybe not, that says kernel up to 3.4 and we're at 5.4 (or later)....
actually, this edit gives me a thought. you're using that e25 beta right? I think it uses latest oem kernel, which is 5.14 or 5.15. Maybe reverting to standard 5.4LTS kernel could possibly work better for that gpu; if it were me, I'd install it and boot into it and see.

That is so sweet of you. Thank you very much. How do I do that with the kernel downgrade? I have no idea unfortunately.

Hmmm.... i am using that synaptec... is that also okay to do so? :-) I think so, but it's more complicated that way I'm pretty sure. Search for mintupdate in Synaptic and using that will make it a lot easier. It will handle all the firmware and header requirements.
