Hallo uit Brabant, NL

I come from beautiful Brabant, the Netherlands. Have met Abraham in the meantime, so to speak. 😉 Once started with a ZX Spectrum 48k computer and oh how proud I was to work with that and program to hear the tune Axel F come out. Unfortunately, it has stopped there. Been working on repairs to PC / Laptops and electronics for years, as well as hardware and software.



I am completely new to the world of Linux. But gladly accept the challenge to deepen. The reason/challenge for this is that I have an Android TV box that I want to transform into an IPTV box that runs on Linux.

So if I may, I would also like to use your super knowledge about Linux if I can't figure it out myself. But also likes to take on a challenge and see how far I get. Also know that you get much, much more with Linux But you have to start somewhere. Maybe this is a big leap in the deep end, but I've got my swimming diploma so if things don't go well, we just keep treading water.

Bodhi Linux kan een beetje uitdagender zijn voor sommige nieuwere Linux-gebruikers vanwege de hoeveelheid maatwerk die beschikbaar is en het "verstuurt" erg licht. De filosofie is dat je bouwt wat je nodig hebt; dat kan voor sommigen een uitdaging zijn. De gemeenschap hier is geweldig; ongelooflijk deskundig en vriendelijk. De kans is groot dat als je tegen een stootje aanloopt, we je weer op weg kunnen helpen.

Welcome to the world of Linux and specifically Bodhi Linux; the possibilities to learn new things is nearly endless!

Bodhi Linux may be a little more challenging for some newer Linux users due to the amount of customization that is available and it "ships" very lightweight. The philosophy is that you sort of build what you need; that can be a challenge for some. The community here is great; incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Chances are that if you hit a bump, we can get you back going again.
