Just noticed I have no sound on my recent install. When playing youtube videos. Any suggestions? Volume is turned on and full level.

I don't have any good ideas, but maybe I can ask some questions that will help clarify your issue incase others have ideas. You said no sound, then the next sentance says when playing youtube videos. Assuming that period was a mistake (and it was meant to be one sentence), does that mean sound works for everything else, its just youtube that doesn't work? Assuming yes, what are you using to play youtube (probably a browser, which one? or freetube? minitube? smtube? etc?). Have you tried another app or browser, if so does it behave the same? Do you have any other audio device besides your internal speakers your youtube app could be set for, perhaps HDMI? Double check in pavu control that you're playing to the speakers you want to hear from....
What troubleshooting have you done? Have you looked at alsamixer? Can you provide any information that might help someone help you?

No sound at all. I have only tried playing youtube videos (firefox). But seems unusual. I tried reinstalling pulse audio but no change. I am guessing there isn't a driver for my sound card. It's an Eee pc 1015px Atom N570.

I've fixed it by following this article. Nothing worked until I did alsactl restore then I had sound. I'm still confused as to why I didn't have sound to start with. It was a new install of Bodhi 5.1 legacy (which I have installed many times on different machines). www.maketecheasier.com/fix-no-sound-issue-ubuntu/

I dunno either, but that troubleshooting article seems really good! I have a machine that doesn't have sound on bodhi's default install either, but I kinda understand why, and know how to fix it.... maybe I should try that command of yours! I do it a much more complicated way that involves startup commands and not using the bodhi mixer for volume control....
