I have 3 partitions: Windows, Bodhi 5, and Bodhi 6. I want to remove the B5 partition and increase the B6 accordingly. I can remove B5 ok but B6 is locked, presumably because I'm using it. Is there some (albeit scary) way to do that?

Boot live iso. You can't resize the partition you booted from.

Well, now you say it like that, it's obvious! That worked a treat. Thanks.

Well, now you say it like that, it's obvious! That worked a treat. Thanks. To be fair, you guessed the cause of the issue in your first post. You just didn't think of the "obvious" way to boot from a different partition, and in fact it's not very scary if you're already familiar with gparted.
And in my opinion, a very good reason gparted is installed and in the menu of the live iso (even tho it doesnt actually get installed to real system).
