Hi folks. I live in the United States and have been using Linux since about Red Hat 5.1 (maybe .2?) in 1999. I was on and off with Linux until Windows 8 came out. It was then I decided to go full time and haven't looked back. Up until recently I was running Bodhi as my main OS but you know us Linux folk. I ended up wiping and installing Arch. That worked perfectly fine so obviously I had to wipe it again and install the new Elementary OS which I quite like. But I like having Bodhi available so I installed it in a VM in Virtual Box where it works sooo sooo well. Bodhi is aweso...er I'm being told that is actually against the rules! So I'll just say Bodhi is great and works really smooth in a VM.
When I'm not wiping my drive and installing new distros I'm usually reading science fiction or playing with some kind of Chinese emulation handheld (many of which run Linux so yay) so I can play the games of my childhood like Mario Bros, Bubble Bobble or Pac-Man.

Welcome to the forums and community. I love arch but can't deal with the uncertainty of a rolling release. Gives me nightmares. Glad you're enjoying bodhi. I love trying a few different distros as often as possible, but I haveb't tried elementary os yet, but it keep soming up so I might spin up a VM.

Well I'm afraid Elementary didn't last very long. The customization bug is just too strong. Its Bodhi 6 only now. Everything is working great and fast as usual. I will have to post in that inxi thread but briefly.

I love Sci-fi myself, altho don't have much time to read it anymore.
I heard there's a new Dune movie; odds are if you enjoy reading sci-fi you also enjoy good scifi films; and i wouldn't be susrprised if you've spent hours reading those books (I have).... so maybe you'll enjoy the new film, apparently europeans who have an earlier release than us say its good. I'm looking forward to it (and the new matrix).
