Hi from the NW of Scotland.
Been a linux user since 1998.
Started out with Suse and then moved to Debian, which was great fun updating on dialup especially when i ran Sid. Had a break for about 6-7yrs using a Macbook Pro I managed to pick up cheap. This year it is now to old to update, so started looking at running linux on it. Installed Debian again, then came across Bohdi Linux mentioned in a lightweight distro review. The rest is history. Just want to say what a great distro.
Installation was a breeze, a couple of wee tweaks and it flies on my MacBook and has breathed a new lease of life in to it. So the next purchase will be a SSD to really make it shift.

Hi slackyuser
In England but from Wales. Welcome to the forums. Glad Bodhi helped bring your machine back to life. It’s always nice to get feedback like this from people, so thanks for taking the time to post. Hopefully see you around! Enjoy Bodhi.

Hello slackyuser,
Welcome to the Forums - glad to have you here! Also, thank you for the feedback and good idea with getting an SSD - it should really make Bodhi fly! I use them in my systems and have a hard time imagining going back to spinning platter for my main drive.
See you around!
