This is definitely my favourite browser and I have it working on other devices on different distributions successfully. The message i get is that slimjet closed unexpectedly. I've looked in .config/slimet/crash reports and there is nothing. I'd love to show you a log file or something but I don't know where to look. I'm using the Slimjet 30.0.5.0 and the most recent version of Bodhi. Thanks in advance!

cd /tmp wget https://www.slimjetbrowser.com/release/slimjet_amd64.deb sudo apt install ./slimjet_amd64.deb
The dumb thing says it needs to update but there doesn't seem to be a later version available; if I follow thru with attempting to update, it has you manually download the exact same debfile as above.
As to logs/errors, if you start it from terminal (instead of from menu) you may be able to see the error message when it crashes. Any trick to make it crash? Perhaps current version 32.x is no longer crashing anyway, 30.x was the first non-beta and maybe they've resolved your issue by now...

I installed Slimjet version 32.0.2.0 from the deb file and it worked fine, except YouTube wouldn't play until I installed the latest ffmpeg file. After this, loading YouTube would cause it to crash. There are complaints about it on their forum.
There is also an incorrect download for version 32.0.3.0 which is supposed to be the latest version. Downloading the deb file it gives the version I already have 32.0.2.0
It was suggested to install version 31.0.2.0 and that works fine on all fronts, but it's from September so using it for too long may not be good.
