It’s awesome to see the steady (re)growth of the Bodhi Linux community here on our new forums. Getting involved and contributing is a fundamental part of the FOSS ideology, and is no doubt a large part of the appeal for a lot of us. On that note, please let us know what you’re good at (coding, documentation, testing, promoting....) and if you have the time and inclination we’d appreciate a hand. We already have a new e-book on the way thanks to one of the crew. Let us know how you think you could get involved.

Hi Ritesh, that’s great. What languages do you know? Computer languages or human languages?

That's great. Maybe look into the Enlightenment foundation libraries, that is what Moksha uses and other users with knowledge of this and how Moksha works with it would be useful. Maybe one of the devs would be able to explain a bit in more detail if this is of interest to you, but for now maybe check out the EFL page.

Hello,
I can help if needed with Web development and Linux systems administration ^_^. I have contributed to bodhi in the past, but would want to start fresh and help where I can. My apologies for being away this long.
Cheers!

My apologies for being away this long. Cheers! Glad to have you back and thanks for the long talk today in Discord And on being gone so long we all have lives and real world concerns. People also come and go. You contributed alot in the past so I feel you will find a place once again. We went over enough that you know where to start and sorta what we need at the moment. Any questions or whatnot contact me on Discord.

Mirrors are good. The lead dev Ylee would be best placed to discuss this with you. I’m sure he will when he gets an opportunity 🙂

Hello.
I can code HTML, Python and Javascript, but have little experience with large projects with lots of modules and code that goes back and forth between files. I could probably follow along C and Java code, but not create it from scratch on my own.
Maybe contributing to Bodhi will help me get a better grasp on this whole modules/libraries concepts.
Cheers, Sam

That’s great, I’m sure one of the devs will pick this up shortly, but in the meantime it might be worth checking out efl. They are the C libraries that Enlightenment and moksha use. 🙂 www.enlightenment.org/about-efl.md
