I want to appreciate all the effort done for this product. I have been distro hopping for a year now on various lightweight distribution (antix,devuan,sparky,....)until I settled for bodhi 5. Now that 6.0 is released I was even more excited. It gets the job done. The only thing I missed from 5 is bodhi builder where I could make a custom iso. It is also very responsive in openbox though green moksha is great.
I will recommend it to all my friends. Keep up the good work.

Hi keynapper Thanks for the Kuddos Always great to hear. I am uncertain whether I can restore Bodhi Builder. I am going to try but there are a number of issues I need to fix and at least two I have no idea yet how to fix. Regardless, if I do restore it, it will be something I pieced together and not Bodhi Builder. I have been calling it rebod and it is what I used to make the ISOs for BL6. Currently, it is a hacked-together mess and does not do backups only Distros. Nor is it 'general purpose'. Nor does it have a GUI. So if I do restore it, it is going to take some work and time.

Hello, ylee,
think, that an iso builder is enough at first. Users should learn to backup private things. But there have to be a tool to save the system - because of hardware crash, stolen, fire, water ... I used since years remastersys, rebuild, distroshare-script and BODHIBUILDER too.
1. So its possible for me, to have a "short downtime" if there is an accident AND 2. It's possible to have an iso for friends (to test >> install)
And a simple iso builder could be a terminal application, that's enough - take a look to MX-Linux.

I have experimented with refracta snapshot as a replacement to bodhi builder. It seems to work on bodhi linux(at least on my machine). I did a video on refracta snapshot with devuan.I have changed some parameters in refractasnapshot.conf for kernel and initrd images
