I installed v4l2ucp under bodhi 5, but just noticed it isn't available for bl6. There may be a good reason why or an alternative I could use instead.
The reason I use this, at beginning of pandemic tried had to do some video conferences, first time I'd tried using my laptops integrated webcam. It just showed static basically. After searching and trying various things that didn't help or were just more programs that showed bad picture video, installed and ran v4l2ucp and now my webcam works (in any app).
I don't know enough about webcams or why this worked, but I do want my webcam to still be usable when I install bodhi 6, but haven't actually tested so maybe dont even need this software. Dunno. But I'm concerned if its not available, I won't know how to make my laptop's integrated camera work again.

Qt4 is not available on Ubuntu 20.04 and v4l2ucp is a qt4 program. It also has not been maintained since 2010 or something. The only reason it worked on BL5 was it was patched but BL5 had Qt4. BL6 only has QT5 stuff. I tried unsuccessfully for about a bit to see if I could get it to compile by changing the cmake stuff and trying to force it to use Qt5. It still may be possible but I am giving up for now.
