Been around Bodhi for some time. Wanted to thank everyone for the work you do keeping everything going by doing something other than buying a T-shirt. I have a small collection of them at this point. Using the 6 beta and some version of 4 on another laptop just because I'm having a hard time letting go of ecomorph. I've become pals with the compton module and relatively happy with that. Used to love the old desktop competition threads just seeing the different set ups was great. 6 Beta looks great. Just need to whip up a Conky config that looks good with it.
ps is qAndora still a thing?

Hi TomL
Welcome (back?) to the community. Glad Bodhi is working out for you. The devs and other volunteers work had to make it the best distro for older laptops, and Bodhi 6.0 (Kali)looks to be the best yet. Unfortunately we don’t yet have any T-shirt’s or other merch. However if you are able a small donations are very welcome, or just being part of the community helping out where you can.
Now the community is growing again it might be worth looking into merch.

Thanks for buying our T-shirts And of course for using Bodhi for some time as you say On ecomorph I decided it was too much work to get it work on BL5 or even fix it's bugs in BL4. I did try at one point. Perhaps after the release of BL6 I will take another look at it all. It was a popular module back in the day. As to qAndora, that was a program Jeff Hoogland wrote and has not worked on in 6 years or something. I view it as abandonware and it is in python2 which is now obsolete. Hmm, I will take a look at also after the release and see how much work it would be to port it to py3 and the newer qt stuff. If it is not much work I will do it and add it to BL6 repos and perhaps BL5 repos, assuming I can make it work on both releases. This also will have to wait until after the new release. Consider that would be way easier than messing with ecomorph I will probably do it first. And by the way welcome to the forums and hope to see more of you here

As far as Ecomorph or qAndora don't stress either on my account. I still have my old acer aspire one and another old laptop that runs them both. When I say I've been around I mean pretty much since the beginning. I've donated, bought shirts, answered questions when I could but then the boards went down and I kind of moved off the internet. No facebook, twitter, or social media of any type. I spend most of my time (not at work) with photography and running now. That said I still have plenty of electronics around the house and they are all running on linux. I actually won desktop of the week a couple times. I also had more time to tinker on things.
