I posted a while ago about problems I was having with screen orientation on an ASUS T101H notebook. With help from this forum that was solved, and hunting about on the web, I have solved the associated problems of touchscreen and touchpad cursor movement. If anyone wants the two shell scripts which work for me, I'll post them here. I copied most of it from a user on askubuntu.com so for the sake of fairness you should maybe look there first, full credit to them, I take ZERO credit for what I've done, but mine are ASUS specific so may save you a bit of time and effort. Further to the above, I undocked the tablet bit from the keyboard, the screen does NOT automatically rotate, so the accelerometer is presumably not being picked up by the system. No problem at all, I just made 2 desktop shortcuts to Portrait & Landscape. Sorted.

By all means, post them here, and perhaps the link to the original source. We all use code taken from Ask Ubuntu and Stackoverflow and so on.
