Hi, I recently installed Bodhi Linux and I customized the shelf and icons but after reboot everything seems to go back to default or original one. How can I "save" my settings?

Hello and welcome
That is not supposed to happen. As you set up or customize your shelf or desktop, it should stay saved. Not sure what could happen. Maybe you could be more detailed in description.

Are you sure you didnt modify or reboot into a live session (from the usb/disc you install from?)?

After up make your modifications restart moksha. That should not be necessary but it appears sometimes it is. If that does or doesn't work let us know. As to the issue of Moksha not always saving its settings upon changes and reboots, I will have to give that look after the official release of BL6.0 as well as a 32 bit version. In other words it is going to be a while before I look at this issue.

@ makrina
You can simply back up your ~/.e and ~/.elementary folders.
Or open Settings Panel -> Settings -> Profiles then create/add a new profile when you're done customizing your desktop.

Hi! This still reproduces on bodhi 6.0.0.64. Tried both hwe and standard. Sometimes it helps not rebooting after changes are done, but just logging out. Somtimes.

Restarting Moksha (CTRL ALT END or menu->about OS->restart Moksha) after customization should work well.
