Long time Linux user (1993, I still have the installation floppies in a box somewhere), first time Bodhi installer. Why switch to Bodhi? Silly story. I have an Acer C720P Chromebook that I like, but I lost the power cord a while ago and it sat in a corner under a pile of books (didn't really need it, obviously) and I was cleaning in my office. Found the power cord! Powered up the Chromebook and it still worked, but the first thing that came up was an end-of-life notice. Machine is no longer supported. And as Chrome has gained in popularity, I figure somebody's got to be cracking it. Linux is the obvious answer, but the C720P is a bit cramped for my more typical distro. So looking for a lightweight distro, there are several choices. I chose Bodhi basically because I knew nothing about it.
All I can say, is looking good so far.
