Hello there Yesterday I broke my rules and bought 2 cheap gamepads for my kids. I must confess I never tried any gamepad as I am not a gamer. After some years of linux experience I assumed just a simple plug and play would be enough for this purpose. NO, big NO in my case. I struggled 3 hours and finally got a solution by coincidence. Gamepad xbox 360 Vendor:0x045e Product: 0x028e SHANWAN Device was recognized OK in system. It should work but: xpad driver: nothing xboxdrv driver: nothing changing kernel version: nothing final solution: A short python script I have to run with sudo after pluging device. Also it needs pyusb module installed by PIP. Then, voila, gamepads work fine. https://gist.github.com/dnmodder/de2df973323b7c6acf45f40dc66e8db3 Lets hope this info could help and save some time for another Bodhi users... Stefan EDIT: I asked my colleague for bringing his original MS Xbox360 gamepad. Yes, that worked as I expected. Plug and play
