Well, it’s not exactly Bodhi ‘in the news’, but Bodhi ‘to try out’. There is a website that offers the opportunity to try live systems, and Bodhi is one of them: distrosea.com. The website does not appear to work with proxies, and network is disabled. Moreover, one has to solve a captcha and then wait for a few moments … but not for too long. The available editions of Bodhi are Standard, HWE, and s76. Unfortunately, the AppPack edition cannot be found there. Hope you had a great Halloween ...

It's good to see Bodhi there, but at the same time I really doubt the usefulness of distrosea. The experience is not the same as you would get when booting a live medium, so at least in the past all you could do was try out was basically a desktop environment and the theme they chose for it. A screenshot should be enough for that. Gentoo used to be a total catastrophe on there because you didn't even get a desktop and couldn't to anything in the CLI.
