Hi folks,
I'm Marcus from Germany. I work in Audio professionally and just had enough of Windows. (can you believe it?)
I am on Linux now for 6 weeks give or take. I tried Mabox, EndeavourOS and Manjaro (since there was a learning book available for this one). Somehow I just didn´t feel well with anything that ended with ...untu at first. But still my guts tell me that it makes more sense to someone like me to take the Debian train instead of the Arch one as stability is my primary goal.
Tried Bodhi after I saw that "10 greatest lightweight distros" video by that Linux Tex guy and this was love at first sight. What a sweet distro. Also loved the fact that it can control the screen brightness of my laptop right out of the box.
Only thing I still need to figure out is an issue with Bitwig Studio - Pipewire - Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface. In Bodhi somehow Pipewire labels the Interface as 2i2Camera and I get no sound?
Anyways, if I can get that issue fixed I will marry Bodhi :-)
Keep up the great work Bodhi-Devs!!
Cheers,
Marcus

Hi there
As a Bodhi dev I am always happy to read kind words about our distro. Anyway I am a hobby guitar player and I use Focusrite Scarlet for my guitar. I use Qjackctl + Guitarix. Jack audio is great for sound latency.

Hi there As a Bodhi dev I am always happy to read kind words about our distro. Anyway I am a hobby guitar player and I use Focusrite Scarlet for my guitar. I use Qjackctl + Guitarix. Jack audio is great for sound latency. Stefan Hi Stefan, thanks so much for your help. However, it seems I am not able to get pro audio working with Bodhi. Tried Qjackctl (also QPWgraph) but it doesn´t get installed via Synaptic and I didn´t find a flatpak. It's such a shame, Bodhi is my favourite distro if only there wasn´t this audio issue. Debian based DeBodhi doesn´t install at all - black screen. Lots of distros are plug and play with pipewire/interface. I really wish this was the case with Bodhi. It breaks my heart but I think I will move on. I will keep an eye on Bodhi but the way it is right now it doesn´t have what it takes for audio people. All the best guys, Marcus

Hi again
Open terminolgy and type: sudo apt update && sudo apt install qjackctl
Then you need to run qjack and set audio connections. Try to find some online manuals. I am also available on our discord channel. Feel free to join
