Hi, Dear Community. I am a blogger, and I have many websites on WordPress and Shopify, like this one: fritzboxwelt.de/And I want to use Bodhi Linux instead of Windows. I am bored of Windows (especially with their latest Windows 11 update). I have a simple question, as I do my work with websites, am I able to continue this in a simple way as I was doing with windows? Is there any complexity to use this OS? I’ll be thankful to you. |

Hello and welcome Not sure what you mean by complexity. Linux usage is a bit different. It needs some knowledge how to install apps and stuff around. Anyway our friendly community is always here to help  Stefan |

I´ve been working for 3 years with Wordpress and other CMS for a startup, and I had Win10 on my main desktop at home, and Bodhi Linux on my laptop in office and on another laptop that we used as test server.
Wordpress is always the same on every web browser, and on Bodhi Linux you can install your favorite one without problem.
You could have some problem if you make extensive use of MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe CS....
There are very good free alternatives for Linux ( someone like LibreOffice, GIMP or Inkscape are already enclosed on the App-Pack version of Bodhi Linux ), but they are not "perfect" for professional use.
Do you use a lot of proprietary software?
My advise is to load a live version of Bodhi, and give it a try.
Do not be afraid of the "complexity": as long as you want to do a simple setup or desktop customisation, it is not harder than Windows, and you can find very good tutorials on the Bodhi Website. If they are not enough, in this forum there is always someone ready to help.

Everything I did with Windows works with Bodhi Linux. Free programs at that, which may or may not meet everyone's expectation.

If it is like that, you will have no problem, and your rig will run a lot better, in comparison to Windows.
I have never tried Bodhi on a good PC, but I use it on very old hardware, and the performance are always impressive.
