Is it "boaty" or is it "body?"
And on a related note, what about Linux? Is it "my-nix" or "tin-ux?"
Just curious.

At first I said LI-nux (long i). At some point I started saying it the other way. Why I don't remember. I wonder what Linus says... As for Bodhi, so either one works. Ah, I am beginning to see the Light....

I’ve always pronounced Bodhi as bow-Dee. Where bow is like bow and arrow. I don’t think I’ve ever said it out loud to another bodhi user though.

Yea, I understand. You are an English speaking person. In slovak I pronounce Bodhi and Moksha same as above (without Hindi accent, lol). Linux in slovak is simply Linux (not Linix) as I can hear on forvo. Probably Linus is the best person to explain how to pronounce it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=c39QPDTDdXU&ab_channel=SimonAronsStefan

Linux is LINN-ux. Linux Torvalds pronounces his name almost like LEE-nuss. But he has been quite tolerant of everyone who mispronounces it.

Hello from France, I pronounce Bodhi like a body and Linux like an eye precessed by a L and nux like a nut. In french language Linux is pronouced Li as Lee and Nux as the german ü (das Gefühl).
