Hello, new user here, and I wanted to ask if Bodhi Linux has telemetry, either opt-in or opt-out. We all heard about ubuntu, and since Bodhi is ubuntu based, I wonder if this feature is present in this distro.

To my knowledge, Bodhi doesn't add anything extra, but can you be specific - what telemetry from ubuntu do you wonder if is in Bodhi, as in fact we all haven't heard about it.

I think that the OP is asking about the fact that Ubuntu collects some user data, in order to help the development ( and/or to sell them?). On Ubuntu, you can choose to opt out, if you want. I do not know if this "feature" has been deleted in BL, and I'm not paranoid about it. I use daily an Android smartphone and tablet, and I have Win10 on my main desktop and laptop.

... what telemetry from ubuntu do you wonder if is in Bodhi... Probably referring to Ubuntu ReportThis is not installed by default on BL7 nor probably any other older version of Bodhi. If you are referring to anything else, you will have to be more specific. For the record, you can always run the command below in a terminal to see what is installed: apt list --installed Look upon each package to see what it does and even to find the code and examine it to see for yourself exactly what it does.
