Hello I'm a linux beginner trying to run bodhi linux with a usb. I have a laptop with a really dark screen (backlight problem) so I connected it to a tv with a HDMI cable. The tv shows the bodhi screen as expected when the os is loading but monitor goes to extend mode after the language selection menu appears and you can only see the backgrounds. I tried to use the shortcut Super + P which didn't work. I just wanted to ask is there any shortcut? Or a way I can set the tv as primary screen blind? Also I can see for some seconds with pressing fn + f4 shortcut twice. Before bodhi I've worked with windows 7 and fedora and I can use Super + P there. PLease help, really excited to try bodhi linux!

Use Monitor settings in preferences. Adjust both the laptop monitor and TV screen layout to your liking and save. BUT use the last save button in the toolbar. The hint label is called "Save to Moksha startup". It will save the xrandr config into file which will be run after boot. Stefan imgur.com/a/pCNeGUJ

Hello! Thanks for the reply. But the actual problem is I can't see anything and I hardly pass the language selection menu. Also, the fn + f4 trick I mentioned actually gives me the ability to see for like 1.5 seconds and after some use It doesn't work. Is there any solution that doesn't need seeing the screen? For example opening the terminal and running some sort of command?

Hmm, not sure. I would have to see what happens there. Not easy to solve this remotely way.

Somehow used the fn + f4 trick to do it (step by step). But that would be a real problem if primary monitor was completely black. I know this problem is so rare. But I think its better to have a shortcut to quickly switch between predefined configs. Thanks for paying attention.
