Hi everyone, just a quick announcement...we now have 100 members. Exciting times! Hopefully we will continue to grow as a community, but this is our first milestone. May I take this opportunity to thank the Devs (ylee and Thewaiter) for the amazing job they do for free! and I encourage members to get involved in which ever way you can; helping out on the forums/discord, testing, feeding back and continuing to be awesome!
Thanks to every single one of you for making this a helpful and friendly community.

Glad to hear it is growing. In time it will be back to the size it used to be. The old forum didn't start out with a thousand members. It grew to that. Also, be aware many ppl join that have problems and want help so it will take time. Hopefully more join that actually want to help. I am thankful for the ones here that do help and do post things. We appreciate yall.
Congratulations. It is weird we are not many more because Bodhi Linux is a great distribution. I think you will grow when Bodhi 6 is available. Maybe other colors than native green would improve the visual impact therefore the global interest. I would be happy to help you, for example translating english to french language. French language has many omissions.
Maybe some distros are love for the first sight. People do not realize they can change almost everything. Theme, wallpapers, GTK theme, icon set. "Unfortunately" I am preparing new animated wallpaper which is also green, with new green clock and green icons and green ...
PS: Anyway, back to the topic. Yes, 100 users is great
Moreover, bodhi is a "green power" which means we "resurrect" also old machines which user should not use anymore. Our aim is making Bodhi as lightweight as possible for this purpose. That's why I created symbolic green icon set which counts only 2,2 MB! Some people like it, some not. But as I claimed, user can change the distro look to his needs.

Green is also ecologic. It is the color of our earth (as the blue one for the water). It reminds the necessity of universalism inside a peaceful fight against planned obsolescence and dark age. The green color can be the essence of the vitality through the vegetation, before the red color of animality and human kind. It could mean perenniality. It would lead to peace of mind and relaxation while doing away with pulsions. French pharmacists have a green flag which indicates their medical virtues.
I am happy for new users of course. I am also happy for old members as HippyTaff (web admin). In the past there were many creative guys who took part in Bodhi project. Let's hope this past will repeat. Bodhi relying on 2 devs is a big load. But I can say that has also positive side. I have never learnt so much about Linux, programming, theming, using Gimp, KDEnlive and other apps. I believe there are more guys who would like to follow my story
EDIT: it is a shame not to mention JollyRoger Also creative old member. Sorry if I forgot some others.
