Hi all! Bodhi's been working a treat on my older machine. BUT I didn't have any luck getting it to work properly on my newer machine, so I wanted to try the HWE version.
However, I'm used to using Unetbootin for that sort of thing and thought I could install it on Bodhi on my current machine, but no such luck. I couldn't find it on Synaptic or Bodhi app installer. I did find instructions somewhere for installing it via the ppa thing, but that was a bust.
Suggestions on how to either install Unetbootin or some similar GUI thing, or make flash drive installer some other way? I'd prefer GUI, since I've never tried messing about with this in BASH.
Thanks in advance!

Check out Ventoy, it lets you create a bootable flash-drive menu that can boot from anu .iso file copied directly onto the drive without the need for tools like unetbootin or etcher.

For just writing a single ISO to a USB drive, I use balena etcher. Not sure if it is in any repository, but you can download an AppImage that runs and does the job. Never used Ventoy, but from what I heard this works just as well.

Linux: Ventoy, Balena Etcher, DD Windows: Rufus with DD option
Good luck
PS: Unetbootin is not maintained as far as I know. Try to avoid...
