Hi everyone, I got an issue which I think is coming from Moksha. When I launch Discord, it's opening well but the focus is staying on it and I can't type anywhere else, unless I close ,the window's app. I oftenly got the same issue with no specific window, but then I see that I'm typing on the desktop, into a bar coming from I don't know where. I found that thread, leading me to this place :
And so I have reset my Moksha profile, reboot, and still the same issue ... I also have check many preferences, but cannot find anything. Thanks in advance for your help, and have a great day Edit : I just come to realize that it is only happening when I'm moving discord's app on my second screen, either with my cursor or by window options.

Hmm
Try to check "Always on top" in discord window (CTRL ALT w or border icon menu). Not sure if related but some guys use to press CTRL ALT t for opening terminology but it is bind for "Always on top" feature. Just an idea

Hi Stefan,
No the window is not on top, and I'm using CTRL + ALT + INS for my terminal. And as I found today, it's only happening when moving the discord window to my secondary screen ... All good on my main screen. Thanks for the try !

OK then. I will try to reproduce your problem tomorrow. If confirmed, I will fix in Moksha Stefan

OK, I could not resist to try it. Bad (good) news is Discord works well here on the second monitor. Actually are you talking about second screen meaning the monitor right? I need more info. Are you able to create a screen cast video for me to show your problem?
Questions: 1. what is your screens layout? Horizontal? Vertical? 2. same resolution? 3. is your Bodhi version 7?

Install another theme or another DE (Moksha is same as LXDE).

Install another theme or another DE (Moksha is same as LXDE). LOL, Bodhi uses Moksha. We are trying to find a solution for Moksha not LXDE. Moksha is not the same as LXDE

Sometimes when I focus on a window and try to type and it doesn't, I ALT + TAB out of the window and back in to re-focus and it works again.

Stefan Ok, so I got one laptop, connected directly to a HDMI monitor. The HDMI is my principal screen, and my laptop is the secondary, where I'm moving Discord Window. They're both horizontal.
They are not at same resolution. HDMI is 2560 * 1080 and laptop is 1920 * 1200.
And my Bodhi version is 7.0.0.
Sorry if I'm not explaining very well, feel free to ask me more questions so everything is clear.
And Tenplus1, I have tried ALT + TAB but it's not working, the focus is still staying on Discord App ...
Thanks again for your help !
Edit : Oh, and it's not related to Discord specifically. I have tried with terminology, it's the same behavior.

Hmm, tried again. Decreased my laptop resolution as my both devices are same but everything OK here. Not sure how could I help you more. Sorry Last question: have you changed the monitor layout with arandr tool and saved to startupcommands with last save toolbox icon? Stefan PS: video created with screen recorder would be fine to watch for better understanding

Hum I don't know arandr tool. I use the monitor settings to configure my layouts. I'm not atm with the described configuration, I'll wait this week-end to record my screen. If I got time I will try on a different monitor see if I can reproduce the issue. Is there a default screen recorder on Bodhi or do you recommend one please ? Thank you, have a good day

I use Kazam for screen recording. Anyway what monitor settings do you use? Our default in menu? Actually it is called "Monitor settings" but it is Arandr GUI for xrandr command. Check About item: Arandr Screen Layout Editor.
OK, I will wait for your vid.

Yes, sorry. This "not working setup" is the setup where I got the issue, in comparison with my other setup where everything is working fine
So I did this screencast. Here is the video :
And I got that issue even on my main screen between windows sometimes ...
