Hi everyone, I'm a new Bodhi Linux user coming from antix, I loved the distro for the fact that it simply runs well here, I have one Intel B820, 2GB DDR3 ram, and HD, The only Windows that ran on it was 8.1, and other distros even with xfce simply used the disk all the time, and it burned my leg TWT (it's a laptop), I was very happy that there are still people who care about obsolete devices, which in the current case, I won't be able to get rid of it anytime soon, well, I thank the developers for creating It, And I also loved the site, it's the first time I've interacted with such a minimalist interface, and with an old look, (I always wanted to be from that era, it seemed so simple and practical) In conclusion, I thank everyone, including the community, without it I would have given up trying to use it, not that it is difficult, but having your own explanations for your distro is very welcome, I hope in the future to help other people like this, I want to program, I think maybe it's silly, but I wanted to make the world a better place, bye!

Welcome to the forum! I've discovered Bodhi the same way. Now it's installed in 3-4 notebook and it works very well.

Hi and welcome!
It’s great to read your comments, I too only have old laptops that people no longer want. One of Bodhi’s main philosophies and values is keeping old computers alive, and the devs (ylee and the waiter) do an amazing job of it.
By the way, there’s nothing silly about wanting to make the world a better place, it’s an admirable quality that the world could do with more of.
