Currently have a swap partition of 6GB automatically created by Bodhi with zswap enabled. Would it be possible and advisable to enable zram as well? I have a MacBook with 2GB of ram. I read that in order to enable zram you have to turn off the traiditional swapfile, so how would one go about enabling the two at the same time? . This Mac runs fine, but i want to get into gaming and some of the games that should run well are having some issues. Any advice? Thanks

Hello, Zswap first compresses the data in the RAM and then stores the excess data in the swap file when the RAM is full. Zram compresses data in ram and is well suited to a system without a swap file (raspberry pi for example)
Zswap is the best choice for a PC with little RAM.
I don't see any point in enabling both at the same time.

Thanks for your answer, i'm just trying whatever i can to make my games run better.
