Hello. I haven't been on here for a while until the last couple of days. I have Bodhi 5.1 legacy on an Eee PC 701sd netbook. I just wondered if it's still in support or whether version 6 for 32 bit is ready. I vaguely remember it was in progress last time I looked. The netbook only has an 8gb drive and I noticed it's 91% full! Just wondering if it still fits on an 8gb drive (I know it now says recommended 10gb but wasn't sure if that was the standard version with apps).
I remember when I first used Bodhi it fitted on a 4gb Eee drive :-) Just. That was a long time ago now - how things have changed!
I have three of these little 701SD's and every now and then I like to start using them again.

Not sure if I'm running 5.1 or 6 beta 32 bit. When I click on the link on here for 6 beta I get the sourceforge page saying download the latest version 5.1.0 64. When I go on "about Bodhi Linux" it says 5.1

Oh good. Glad there is something after 5.1 :-) That link on sourcefourge says 7.0.0 64 iso so I thought it was 64 bit.

Ah I see if I scroll down the list it has 7.0.0 legacy - not the big green download button at the top - is that right?

I'm excited to try it now :-) Only thing is, will it fit on an 8gb drive?

I'm installing (or rather doing it live) but got stuck at the first languages page. Mouse doesn't work on the "next" button and hitting enter doesn t do anything either sadly.
I tried re-doing the usb stick with dd instead but having the same issue. Maybe keyboard and mouse not working?

All installed. Keyboard is working and right mouse click is working but left mouse click isn’t working (also how do I turn on tap to click?). Also tried to enable ufw in terminal and it said it’s not installed - is that right? It looked like it was going to take up a lot of space to install.
3.8gb used (after updated) :-)

Settings -> Input -> Mouse and Touchpad -> Touchpad to enable tap to click.

Thanks. That’s greyed out with a cross in it. Can I enable it in the terminal?
Some minor issues - left mouse button not working, web browser won’t connect to internet (wifi definitely connected). It all looks amazing otherwise - love the little clock. Is it supposed to have hands though?

Greyed out means the extras is not selected. Enable Device Extras and then Tap to click will be activated. In case you have a modern laptop try Clickpad for some more features. Stefan

Thanks I’ll try that. No it’s a very old netbook! An eee pc 701sd. Do you know why the browser can’t connect to the internet? The browser icon has disappeared now too. I installed Firefox via the terminal but that does the same - can’t open the page.
