Hello. I haven't been on here for ages. Life got hectic. I'm a long time bodhi user. However this question isn't about bodhi but I'm looking for some help. So I have an old laptop that has had various things installed on it at various times and I decided to wipe the drive. I used parted magic to do so and used secure erase. For good measure I decided to erase the mbr as well. When I went to erase the mbr it gave me a list of devices to choose from. Now I've done this many times before and there is the installed drive and the usb flash drive to choose from usually, but on this occasion there were also 15 other devices listed! All called nbr. nbr0, nbr1, nbr2 and so on, right up to nbr15. Next to each nbr number it says 0B (Model unknown SN: undetected). So can someone who understands these things help me out please? Why are they there and how do I get rid of them? I have ascertained that nbd means network block device.

It's ok, I've established they are not on the computer but are part of the live parted magic. I was just confused there seemed to be extra devices on my machine!
