Hello All,
When installing Bodhi linux I didn't create swap partition as system didn't ask mi about it. And I guess page file is more preferable than swap partition. Of course system created swap file itself, ie.: /swapon file 520,2MB
But I noticed that when RAM is fully utilized and then swap becomes fully utilized it doesn't grow bigger but stills remains 520.2. What I thought is that once more space is required then it should become bigger. Why swap file doesn't become bigger but has the same size? And it is even when both ram and Swap file is full.

Swap doesn't change by itself. But if you want it bigger, you can remove it and make a bigger one. Or add another one.
When ram+swap is full, the linux out-of-memory handler will start killing processes.
As to why, dunno, would have to research, but I bet you're not the first person to think of that idea, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is somehow possible, or there's a reason why not.
