cat /var/log/syslog | grep -i blocked Jan 29 06:42:11 Mario bluetoothd[1132]: Failed to set mode: Blocked through rfkill (0x12)
But
rfkill list 0: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no 8: hci0: Bluetooth Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no
I did: sudo rfkill unblock all sudo hciconfig hci0 down sudo rmmod btusb sudo modprobe btusb sudo hciconfig hci0 up
But bluetoothd is still blocked.
Does this make sense to anyone? Thanks

If it’s a soft block then you can unblock it. If it’s a hard block that means it’s a physical switch on your machine which needs switching on.
rfkill unblock all as you have done.
However, This looks like you need to install blueman.

I have both blueman and bluez installed. I just build the machine and there are no switches. I have confirmed that bluetooth is enabled in the bios.
Thanks for the reply
