Hi snubby
Yep, Moksha is a fork of E17. Stephan has made lots of changes since the original E17 though.

Moksha is a heavily tuned E17 fork (2015) with many instablity fixes, new features, modules and maintained themes.

Thank you for your answer, when the guide is finished I will write about it here on the forum, but it will take some time, because it is extensive

Moksha can no longer be considered e17 anymore than e26 can be considered e17. Old themes and modules for e17 can no longer be counted on as working correctly or even at all.

Kind of like Ubuntu isn’t Debian.

More like Cinnamon isn't GNOME. Moksha uses the latest enlightenment foundation libraries, just like Cinnamon uses current GTK libraries, but both DEs forked from their respective parents many years ago.

From your sig: linuxcarl.dk/ Nice website, snubbi/ carl. And wow, have you done your share of translations. For your book project, this might be of help, if you haven't already found it: www.smashwords.com/books/view/1086439 - it's for Bodhi 6, but perhaps you can use bits from it.

Yes, I have translated some, but no more. I have read the book you refer to and have been inspired by it. I will then make mine a little different and take the good parts from the book.
