Hello everybody. I'm probably a little more advanced then a Linux newbie - but not by much! I installed different versions of Bodhi Linux on my 2 laptops - the legacy 32 bit version on my older laptop and recently, the 7.0 version on my newer laptop. During both installations, I selected "encrypt files for greater security." When I start the legacy version, there is an initial sign-in to access the encrypted files and then the main sign-in screen appears. When I start the 7.0 version, there is no initial encrypted files sign-in - it goes directly to the main sign-in screen. I am wondering whether this feature is working and maybe the initial sign-in is no longer needed in the later versions?
Update: I decided to redo the install and as before selected to erase the disk. However there is an ADVANCED button which I did not press the first time - this is where you can encrypt the disk. After install, program worked as expected - one sign-in to access the encryption and then the sign-on at the main screen.
