Greetings, fellow bodhi developers and users. I had bodhi linux 6 and manjaro linux dual boot set up previously. I don't exactly remember how I did it (considering I was a noob then). In the above screenshot, there are 2 partitions sda5 and sda6. I have formatted sda5 which had bodhi 6 on it. Now, I'm running the installer and I'll perform the rest of the operations from the installer itself. Under installation type, I clicked "something else" option. This window opened: From here, what should I do if I want to install bodhi on sda5 and keep manjaro on sda6 intact. I don't want to run into problems with grub or something else. Thank you.

Should be as simple as selecting sda5 and continuing with the installation. I'm getting this error: No EFI System Partition was found. This system will likely not be able to boot successfully, and the installation process may fail. Please go back and add an EFI System Partition, or continue at your own risk.

My understanding is that you only need EFI/UEFI if you’re dual booting windows, but my knowledge here is limited, I haven’t dual booted for many years, so without testing I’m reluctant to advise. Best wait for someone with more experience here to chime in.

You could remove sda5 before you start and then let the installer do the automatic option of dual booting and using all the free space for bodhi.
As to grub. When you have multiple linux distros, one of them controls grub. If you just do default installations, it'll likely be whatever distro you installed last. Which means when you wanna modify grub config files, you'll do it on that distro, but otherwise it doesn't matter which distro controls it.

No EFI System Partition was found.
It's simple. A hard disk can be either MBR or GPT. When you boot the installer, you must select the MBR option.

I don't believe the installer gives you any such choices, Mak.

Actually it does, but in the the UEFI settings.
(Note USB key vs. UEFI USB key! 😉)
