SVG does look nice, sure.
Is this whole affair here a plug for the theme over at pling? If so, I'm sure you could have just posted that somewhere and no one would have been offended or anything. It's great to see that themes for moksha are being made/ refined/ improved.

Looks great. Add it as a desktop image and post it in the desktops thread or Discord channel.

Is this whole affair here a plug for the theme over at pling? No. I had a question about the QT_STYLE_OVERRIDE environment variable because apt install vlc resulted in an ugly looking VLC. Then someone mentioned that it is "a big hassle to get moksha, gtk, qt4/qt5/qt6, and elementary apps to all look the same". After I replied, "a coder and theme designer here" said "I am not sure what you are talking about", I replied again. Then, I was told "if you feel you are that right person for our project and you are ABLE to make something tangible, feel free to join the team", which I find pointless because "as for the icons, I downloaded Bodhi green replacement icons from Pling". So, don't blame me.

I created a complete green icon set for MokshaArcGreen theme which was the default theme for BL6. I wanted all icons green but I did not realize how infinite work it is. There are thousands apps around. I had to green all those icons and some were really tricky to do. Some impossible. I doubt Miss Tell's icon set inlcudes all apps. My BL7 idea was different. Keep the main menu, categories and settings panel icons in green while apps keep the original icon. It is much more convenient for me as dev. Who knows, maybe I will abandon this idea in BL8 era.

You probably missed my edited note in my post. If you need to theme qt apps with GTK theme just do this: sudo apt update && sudo apt install qt5-gtk2-platformtheme restart Moksha
BTW: I created GTK theme in Oomox for each theme I maintain, so it is not such a big hassle.

Miss Tell's Icon Set covers all the applications included in the Bodhi 7 AppPack, which means that it looks good. These ACYLS are also much nicer than Archdroid's, especially in the case of folders and archive types. The ACYLS are recolorable, and the recolor script hasn't been removed. Papirus has the most icons, but I don't find it very nice, and it's too boring because many Linux distributions use it. I also downloaded the Newaita icon set, for a change, when I want colored icons, and because the look of Newaita has a unique feature: the icons are "half-flat", and if you have some "old-fashioned" icons, they mix quite well. It's also worth mentioning that Newaita also comes with a recoloring script and you can easily recolor folders and panel icons (dock, taskbar, toolbar, shelve or whatever you want to call it). Addendum: Newaita: www.pling.com/p/1243493Newaita Christmas theme: www.pling.com/s/Window-Managers/p/1281392/

Stefan I didn't miss sudo apt update && sudo apt install qt5-gtk2-platformtheme, but I haven't tried it yet. Thanks! Creating GTK themes in Oomox is really easy, but you have to know the quirks of Oomox. Otherwise you can easily end up with no GIMP cursor (dark-on-dark).
