Thanks for the excellent support

Funny, a couple of days ago, I did a complete reinstall of bl7, and I looked back at all the hints I got from the excellent Bodhi support group and I was easily able to apply a reinstall with the old answers you gave regarding attaching a second monitor on a dock. I also have to refine my previous conclusion that only Bodhi would give hassles regarding a second screen. I have found out that Ubuntu Mate could not handle my second screen either. Only Linux Mint seems to do the job out of the box. It is a wonderful Linux world.
