The Bodhi Team is pleased to announce our much-requested release of The App Pack version Bodhi Linux 7.0, derived from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) base. This release is 64-bit only. The latest ISOs can be downloaded at Sourceforge. A list of applications preinstalled can be found on our wiki. Enjoy

The AppPack release includes the last Moksha revision with fixes and new feature. This way I want to introduce the clock new feature. I can see many youtubers struggling with the clock calendar hiding. They do not understand they need to click on the clock gadget to hide the popup. I decided to include a feature you know from some gadgets. When you press ESC key or click outside the calendar area, the popup hides. In case you like "Always on top" behavior, I added a check box option for this purpose. I hope you will like it Stefan

Good morning! You will forgive me, I hope, if my question is foolish. Bodhi version 6.1.0 is installed on my PC. Is it possible to upgrade to Bodhi 7.0 by performing a version upgrade? I don't want to lose the data or do a back up...thanks!

Yes, it is possible but for an advanced user. I tried that and I ended up with some mess I had to resolve. My recommendation is to back up your data and do the fresh installation.

Stefan I might add that doing a back up once in a while is good practice. You know the saying: There are two kinds of people. The ones that do backups and the ones who've never had a drive fail.
