So I'm trying to delete items from the main menu Applications, but having no luck Tried searching high and low for a setting menu that let's me do this but couldn't find it. Googled it, found out that .desktop items are stored in ~/.local/share/applications, but that folder is empty. Tried looking at the menu entry properties, the .desktop path is the same as stated before, but the .desktop file is not there.
Any ideas?

The easiest way to hide something in the menu is to copy the desktop file from /usr/share/applications to ~/.local/share/applications then add "NoDisplay=true" to it.
