When using Moksha's own pointer theme, the mouse cursor sometimes changes to an ugly black pointer when on certain apps e.g. Open Synaptic, go to resize divider and it appears instead of the lovely Moksha pointer. The only way I can fix this is to move to an X themed pointer like Breeze.

I dunno exactly how this works, but I think the moksha settings gui allow you to set the pointer for Moksha, or alternatively set Moksha to use the X cursor. Regardless what Moksha is using, Some apps use X cursor or GTK cursor or QT cursor, and I don't think the Moksha settings GUI controls them at all.

I use the x cursor not the cursor in the Moksha. But be aware apps can still change the cursor and some do. I do not know of any way to use only the Moksha theme cursor nor any way to 'force its use' in the code.

I just seemed strange that Synaptic Package Manager uses moksha theme cursor but only when resizing a panel does it change.

It changes the cursor theme on all windows.I then had to go into settings-imput-mouse and touchpad-theme and change the theme to X. Good luck
