Okay I've been trying to get into directories I'm not sure if they are top folders or what, but I've tried both "cd \documents and also tried cd /documents" and still cannot get into these folders? Thought it would be straight forward, but I was wrong. Anyhow I'll try to look it up but curious are these top level folders which need to be accessed differently.

Check the attached screenshot. You do not use the foreward slash ( / ) in your command to change to a different folder. Also, it is case sensitve so capitalization is important. If your folder is Documents, you must type in cd Documents and not cd documents. It is the same for your other folders. Hope this helps.
