Hello there Just a little proof of continuing development. As you know a new Moksha release includes a great ported iBar feature from E. I am talking about icon menu system like Plank dock offers. There is also an indicator of opened app instance or instances. I spent a nice evening yesterday with a little tweak: counter of instance's windows. I replaced the indicator with a little counter to know how many windows are opened. It is a nice feature (probably better than more dots in Plank) I saw in some desktops like Cinnamon. So far the Default and MokshaGreen themes support it. Other themes have the current dotted indicator. I am thinking if worth adding to all maintained themes;) Enjoy... Stefan

Regarding Ibar, one thing I would find really useful is if middle click opened a new window, instead of just left click. As plank, gnome and other docks use that to open a new instance, I always get mixed up when I am using ibar.
It also seems bodhi 7 won't let you have two ibars with different content. If you have one on shelf and one on desktop, for example, or two on shelves, etc. I don't recall having this issue on previous bodhi but I have been meaning to verify before reporting...

Yea, I know what you mean. You told me in the past. I explained I did not wanna mix E style and Plank style. Moksha users and vice versa E users will be confused. Sure I could add an option for that in settings. Maybe I will look at that one winter day I have no problem with different content in two iBars. Having 2 contents requires adding a new source in iBar setting: Stefan

THANKS! It seems I just forgot how to do it. I shoulda kept my mouth shut until I was sure about it, I might have found that setting eventually.
And I'll keep my eye out this winter for that ibar option for middle click to open new instance, that would be nice Christmas present indeed, might even be able to finally give up plank dock!

Opening an app with a middle button is everything you need? I think Plank has also an another functionality with left mouse. Should it cycle the opened instance's window? Something like that. Not sure...

OK, project done. Moksha style control vs Plank style ready. Plank style opens a new window with middle click. Left click activates all instance's windows.

Just tried the new ibar without moksha controls enabled. The main issue I noticed is that regular left click doesn't open apps that aren't open already, which is non-intuitive (and different than gnome or plank). Please Another unrelated issue I noticed when attempting to use ibar without tasks module, is that we no longer can get easy access to the menu that comes up when you right click on something in tasks - the menu that includes close window and take shot, etc (same menu that comes from corner icon, but icon isn't available on gtk4/csd apps). So consider this yet another feature ibar feature request, to make it more feature complete with tasks.

Oh, you are right with Plank style. It means the first window will be opened with left click and another ones with middle click, right? I am not a Plank user or Guru thus I missed this. I thought only middle click is working this way and it is also true. But it should be doable. Of course I added that menu to iBar. Just hover mouse over the icon to show menu with items. Now right click on the item will invoke the context menu Stefan

OK, fixed, commited. Now let's wait for new package. Let's give Ylee some time to do that. Damn, I am too productive, lol.
