I downloaded numlockx and i can't find it nowhere in startup applications how to i add it to it

Go to this directory and this file and save the entry as shown. Log out or reboot and numlockx should start up automatically. I hope this helps!
Edit: of course user name will not be yeah, in your case it will be what ever user name you are using.

Adding it to the e startupcommands script will work perfectly, I just figured I'd comment why you can't find it in startup applications, as this was something I also dealt with for numlockx many years ago. To appear startup applications it has to have a .desktop file, and the numlockx package doesn't come with one. I personally think it should (but set to NoDisplay=true) to make it easier for people to add to startup apps....
When I asked years ago why bodhi turns off numlock in the first place when I have my bios set to enable, it's because some people have laptop keyboards without 10-key pad, and when numlock is on it makes some letters into numbers, so to avoid complications with people logging in, especially when typing an invisible password, this was put into place. Same reason some login managers or I think even debian itself on tty iirc will warn you "numlock is on" or "capslock is on" when you are entering a password.
