Gang, In the FAQs at: www.bodhilinux.com/w/about-support-faq/#Bodhi_eBookit is stated: Where can I find the Bodhi eBook? “Bodhi Linux 7.0.0 – The Complete Guide for Beginners” (ISBN: 9781005193270) is an excellent eBook publication from Bodhi forum member JollyRoger, aka Roger Carter. It’s available (free) at www.smashwords.comWhen I follow the link (www.smashwords.com) it links to Bodhi Linux 6 not 7. And when looking at the list of books by the same author I see no reference to Bodhi 7.0 at all. Does this simply mean the link needs to be updated or that there is no e-book for Bodhi 7.0 currently available? Kindest regards, The Scarlet Pimpernel

The BL6 book had some opinions and recommended changes (PCFileMan for Thunar, etc.) that were not really necessary. But yes, it was worth reading. I don't know whether he will have a book for BL7; someone here remarked that he is over 80. As I'm over 70, I will not volunteer to update this.

Also over 40. I think one of the youngsters should take it on! 🙂 I'm 64 but like the plague victim in Monty Python, I'm not dead yet It shouldn't be too hard to produce an updated version.
Task list:
1. Contact original author to seek permission to produce a revised edition with attribution. 2. Contact dev's &/or get input from the community to seek permission & ask rough notes as to what has changed from a user facing perspective.
3. Actually read the BL6 ebook (duh) & make notes on changes. 4. Revise text. 5. Seek editorial input for further edits from dev's/community. 6. Publish final revision.
I'm wondering if this wouldn't be better handled as a wiki rather than pdf?
Thoughts?

Hahaha, not the same character but, just a minor flesh wound!
That sounds like a sensible plan, but I was also thinking last night a wiki style would be better. I was also thinking of using GitHub so that the community can add pull requests so it’s a “live” document. But all these great ideas need someone to put them into action. I might look into tentatively setting up a GitHub repo this weekend as I have some rare free time and seeing what happens.
