Hi there,
At the very first try to boot with Bodhi Linux from my Ventoy usb key on an old computer, a password and a login name is ask. Someone can please tell me what to fill in. Thanks a lot in advance

that's wierd. when i tried beta7 on ventoy, it gave me two different options on now to boot bodhi. perhaps you have an old ventoy version, that's my only guess, but i can test myself in a couple days

Hmmmm...so I am using Ventoy and launched Bodhi v6, beta v7, and v7 without being required to put in a userid and password.
Are you getting the Ventoy menu selection and launching Bodhi and then getting the request for userid and password or are you getting asked prior to the Ventoy menu appearing? Many machines 14-18 years old had hard drive and BIOS passwords. This was very pronounced in the old IBM Thinkpad line.
If it is Bodhi asking try Bodhi and blank for the userid and password.
