Used mintupdate with BL6. Is it still useful with BL7.
Or using sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade better option.
When installing mintupdate it added unnecessary files.

Mintupdate doesn't appear to be in bodhi 7 repos.... how did you install it?
I seem to recall that there is supposed to be some new module or tray applet for use as update manager in bodhi 7, but I can't find it, I looked thru the bodhi app center and its not under utilities or moksha modules. I imagine someone knows what I'm talking about tho right?

Not sure if ylee has something up his sleeve but if not I guess mint-update needs to be added to the repo.

For what it's worth, I tested building mintupdate packages on bodhi 7 from gm10 ppa source on bodhi 7, seems to work okay.
Yes, it really is less than one megabyte, including dependencies. Attachments:mintupdate.tar.gz (930.94 KB)
