Hello.
I have installed the beta, Bodhi 7 s76, in a VM and it's passed my tests. I had no issues, so I'd like to move it to a bare metal partition. I've installed it twice on the HD but I have the same issue - I can't seem to get the mouse working - no cursor at all. I am using an HP laptop, but neither the trackpad nor a USB mouse is working.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hmm, I do not think BL7 RC s76 will help. You did not provide any PC specs but I would go with older kernel. Try BL 7 RC only, not s76 which has kernel 6.2.

What specs would you need? It's a fairly recent laptop that's 3 years old with 10th gen Intel CPU and Nvidia 2070 GPU graphics. It usually runs everything I can throw at it. I am currently running kernel 6.4 Fedora fine.

Oh, new specs. Such a mystery the mouse is not working.

I installed the RC version, and somehow I found the mouse. It's very possible, in the beta version, it was on a black screen that I couldn't see. Anyhow, I think may have found the problem. I have 3 monitors attached to the laptop and have been working trying to get the setup working. I started with the laptop screen only. Then I slowly added each monitor, one-by-one, using arandr. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, something would always go haywire, where I'd get some monitors mirroring others and some just black. Eventually, even the built-in monitor would look wonky. Rebooting did not seem to help. I am familiar with the monitor editor, and typically I am comfortable in it. But there seems to be an issue that Bodhi 7 has with it in my setup. At the moment, I am unable to use either version in their current state, but I will try subsequent versions to see if the display issues resolve.

Thanks for the update. Is the mouse issue resolved? If so can you start a new thread with other issues and I will mark this one as solved.

If you’re still having issues please feel free to start a new thread, or continue this one if it’s the same issue. BL7 is now released, so it’d be good to know if the issue has persisted. If it’s possible for you to try BL7 and feed back, that would be great.

It sounds likely to me the mouse cursor was on another screen that wasn't turned on.
